My personal experience at Hong Kong Express was delightful – the dishes were flavorful, and the ambiance was welcoming. Whether you're in the mood for traditional Chinese cuisine or looking to try something new, Hong Kong Express is definitely worth a visit.

I came here because of Tik Tok. A video of the restaurant passing out piles and piles of food. I had to check it out for myself. Plenty of parking. A small restaurant quick service with I believe 2 tables inside to dine in, if you choose. It is your standard Chinese American Food, such as BBQ Roast Pork, Noodles, Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, etc. You can choose a combo meal or go a la carte. I believe the 2 combo meal is about $16. She piled on the foods and both sides of the to-go container, since I said I would dine in. There was no way my to go container would have closed at all. The portions are beyond generous. The beef and broccoli was good, as was the orange chicken. The BBQ Pork was more on the dry side so slightly harder to chew.

OMG. Waaay too much food. We walked in and ordered a 3 item plate. I think it was around $15 and they put way too much food in it I asked them, "how are you going to close it?" The ladies giggled and they had to put it inside plastic bag as, u guessed it! The lid wont close. Then we ordered a 2nd 3 item combo and they were surprised we ordered a 2nd meal. They even had stacks of small boxes so u can carry out food because that plastic bag would break with all that food. Oh no, I am not exaggerating of how much food it was because once we brought those home we weighed it and it was over 4lb each! 3 of us ate 3 meals and could not finish

Tried this place yesterday. It was packed. I asked a few other customers if they come here alot, only one said yes and his reco was orange chicken because it comes out fresh every few minutes. Everyone else said the same thing- its my first time because I saw it on instagram. I got chow mein, broccoli beef, and bbq pork. The plate portion is huge enough for 2 people. When the lady handed me the order she said you want hot sauce honey... so cute. Recommend you try it.

I'm tired of Hong Kong getting lower ratings on Yelp. It's literally a fast food Chinese food spot that fills up their containers for such an affordable price. And their food hits if you are craving Chinese. For a two item combo it is about $15. I like to for half fried rice and half noodles (although I prefer their noodles). My favorite sides are their orange chicken and mushroom chicken. I like that their mushroom chicken comes with zucchinis. The sauce for both items are always good. And because Hong Kong Express is usually so busy with the line out the door, fresh food is always being made. The last time I came here was on a Thursday for a late lunch and the line wasn't bad. It didn't take very long for my turn and for them to fill it up. An order is definitely two portions for me. And what I love about Hong Kong Express, unlike Lucky's is that they take credit card. The inside is super casual. There is no seating inside really.

The best bang for your buck! Do you see how filled this tray is? It could barely close! I actually have been coming here for years, and the food and service are great, so I am glad that they have been gaining so much popularity and business lately. The only downside now is the long lines during dining hours, especially lunchtime. I waited over an hour on a Saturday afternoon (around 2 PM) because the line was out the door. The beef and broccoli were delicious; the beef was saucy and soft and the broccoli was satisfyingly crunchy. The orange chicken is always a slay--super crunchy and flavorful as well. The chow mein was a bit plainer than usual, but I attributed it to the chefs needing to make more food super quickly to accommodate the crowd. The noodles were nicely cooked though! They were neither under- or overdone. This is mainly a to-go place, but there are some tables inside for dine-in if you would like to (:

Had to try this place out since its been all over IG. Giving the place 4 stars because the service was great, the amount of food is definitely generous, and the price is very budget friendly. This is definitely a to-go and for pick up type of place since the restaurant is small and not much seating area. The food taste just like any other hong kong express, the quality is okay and they fill up the tray more of the carbs like the chow mein and rice. Other than that, its really the amount of food that I think attracts people to this place.

Finally got to try this viral Chinese takeout spot! You need to go to this location specifically in Westminister. There's always a line out the door but it moves pretty fast. They PACK the food in the plates that you won't be able to close it, one plate is enough to feed 2-3 people, or just yourself for multiple meals. I ordered a 2 combo plate with half chow mein half fried rice, bbq pork and orange chicken for $13.99 and 2 veggie eggrolls for $3.99 PASS on the bbq pork, it's a bit dry and not very flavorful. Luckily they packed my plate with so much orange chicken it didn't matter that I decided not to eat the pork. The orange chicken here is a little over battered but still maintains a nice crunch. Very good, better than Panda Express and their skimpy portions. The chow mein has that wok fried flavor which is delicious, nothing too special about the chow mein but exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese takeout spot. The noodles were al dente too so it had a bite to them which I love. The fried rice surprised me, I generally don't order fried rice because my mom always told me we have rice at home, but the fried rice here is actually decent and has a slight soy sauce flavor with veggies! The veggie eggrolls are HUGE but just stuffed with cabbage inside. They don't give any sauce (I forgot to ask if they had any though so make sure to ask? Not sure if it's extra either). Still had a nice crunch when I brought the food home. Delicious! WORTH COMING 100% because of the huge portions and fast service.
